After 2 extremely tiring and exhausting days, my class, T1's haunted house has finally come to an end.
I have to admit it didn't feel so good ending it but at the same time, we were all glad as we really worked hard for the past 2 days and were just very tired.
The reception we got was superb. Honestly, I never thought we could get that many. As I was in charge inside telling the ppl outside on when the next group can come in, I could take a peek of the crowd outside through the door. The line was incredibly long and it extended till the corridors. O.o I think when the people working inside heard about the crowd, they felt extra motivated too, knowing the effort they put in has finally paid off.
The feedback was fortunately very positive too. So far I hadn't came across someone who actually came to me and said it sucked. I mean, maybe they told other ppl.. but if it really sucked that bad, I would had heard it somehow. But I didnt! Wuhoo.
We earned alot! Damn glad we did. We were all extremely pleased on the profit. Ah.. thinking again about the crowd lining up outside. Damn exciting to see that I tell you.
The haunted house also allowed me to see the many different personalities of ppl man.
There are these few who actually respected what we've done shouting praises as they were walking somewhere towards in the beginning. Things like "wah..shit. quite scary man. T1 rox" "Shit this is scary. Nice sound effects guys!" or simply showing their fear as they walk towards the beginning really boosted our self-confidence. It showed our house actually achieved its objective and is really scary ppl off. It doesn't suck. =)
Unfortunately, there is this other group of ppl who seemed like they just have to show their 'bravery' or 'courage'. They come in in groups of 4-5. Normally guys, they just walk in, ignoring every wall they bump into, being very aggresive with the walls and even to the extent of hurting our 'ghosts' who were working inside.
Damn freaking angry when I see them tearing down papers or disturbing any props which was inside. Gahhh. But we ought to expect this kinda things anyway when we are doing the project.
100% of our profit goes to charity. I don't mind actually. The most important thing for me is recognition. I want ppl to recognise us as the actual makers of the Haunted House. Another interesting point in this project was how it actually brought the class community closer. That part was interesting. I feel without it, some groups will eventually drift further apart.
The last 'group' which went into the house had I should say one of the best rounds anyone had ever had. When they crossed each section, I signaled the 'ghosts' which was at a certain position they had crossed to stand up and follow them. When they were walking, we were crashing down boxes at them and screaming to scare them off. When they were walking towards the end, one huge group of 'ghosts' was tailing them.
Then when they finally went out, we had a huge sigh of relief and everyone applauded.
You could actually see the relief on the faces of everyone. It was great I tell you. We finished the house united. Whether it was during the distribution of the flyers or till the cleaning up of the house, we stood together and everyone did their parts.
I am now thinking on how stupid I actually was to even bother about telling my Specialist Maths teacher who did the flyer. The class did it. No one deserve any extra credit.
And oh yea, speaking about the last group which went in, it was twice the fun when I realised that group consist of a girl who was extremely reluctant to enter the day before. At the entrance to the 'house'(which was my position), she was screaming her lungs out, holding on tightly to the door when her guy friends tried pulling her in.
Her guy frens kept persuaing her in, saying they'll be with her and all but she kept screaming "NO!" and looked as if she was about to cry. In the end, they had to give up and the guys entered themselves. I think today they returned as they didn't want to waste the girl's tickets. Hahaha. And what an experience it was for the petrified girl. I'm sure they had a blast.
And to the visitors who came twice. Yesterday and today. They were simply phenomenal.
It is seriously extremely encouraging to see people come again bringing different sets of friends. It actually showed how they liked it in a way. There is no denying that. Some may argue they were just bringing their friends in as a tour guide but cmon man, would anyone pay another additional entrance fee just to bring their friends in? I seriously doubt so. They sure had liked the house in a way. A special thanks to them. ;)
It was also funny seeing girls taking baby steps as they walk. Some even stayed at the entrance, not willing to move at all. I had to ask them to proceed but to those extremely stubborned ones or simply 'too-scared', my class rep had to scare them off as a ghost from behind. Seeing the girls screaming at different parts of the house was very funny in a way too. Hahaha. It was clearly the I-am-too-brave-for-your-house guys who were taking away all the fun. But we didn't let those ppl hurt us I guess. Just hoped they exited quickly. :P
To those who didn't go, I felt it was their lost actually. Hahaha. Too bad la. ZZz.
The Taylors Management was also extremely supportive on our project. Some came to see and to ask us how it was going. The program director also got to take our pictures after we finished today. I believed one of the director also asked why only 2 days or something. The lecturer or someone who was asking us to clean up quickly or something was a pain but we expected it anyway. It was one of the fastest clean up works I ever did in my life. But with a combined effort of the class, we managed to finish it the fastest possible.
From a haunted house to an examination room. What a contrast. O.o
Speaking about taylors management, they had also sent our first progress report to our houses. My parents took a look at it already. Funnily enough, they didn't lecture me or something which may be a bad sign somehow but I shall leave it at that at the moment. I really hoped I improve for my 2nd progress report for my own benefit actually.
Bah. The haunted house was great fun and an experience we would not forget for the time being. But like all things, good things come to an end and I guess we just had our end some few hours ago.
Time to focus more on our academics.. which is quite the sien but I dont think as a student anyone can avoid.
:/
Out.

It sucks having to feel like you put an effort into something and if the results turn out good, you get no recognition for it. No credit whatsoever. Instead, misunderstandings or not, other less worthy ppl get credit for what you have done.
It sucks big time.
It is not a matter of showing off or not, but I strongly feel the main effort guy should be receiving all the credits he can get as he deserves it.
Especially if he is not rewarded in any ways for his efforts. I'm whining again but I have my reasons.
A little more about that later.
Do you know the sudden shock of motivation you receive sometimes during your educational years? Like all of a sudden, you have this sudden drive which makes you feel extremely motivated to complete your assignment or to study. Shocks like that is coming quite often for me but most often at the wrong times. Zzz. When I am actually in the environment to study.. the motivation is gone. :/
It's like.. you are on the way home from the mall..then you feel the sudden shock of motivation..then u go to the library.. but the moment you arrive at the library, the motivation is gone. U get it?! I get that all the time. Sigh. But at least I'm improving. At least I'm feeling the shocks now. :)
My first SAM progress report is shitty. I am only proud of my ESL marks which actually don't overshadow the much weaker marks. I only can hope and pray I can actually work on the subjects I scored very low in. :(
Okay.
Back to the taking credit thing.
So *ahem* today rite..
During Specialist Maths period, one of my classmates passed my teacher the flyer I designed..
Okla before that, briefly.. the teacher has this impression of me being extremely weak and being not really hardworking enough for my standard.. I always try to make her have a good impression on me somehow.. I always try to show her I'm paying attention and I force myself to understand the lessons most of the time.
Ok back to the flyer which was passed to her.. after a few explanation she gave.. she looked at the flyer.. and started saying..
"Who did this? Well done. It's brilliant"
She looked up to the class and expect a quick and immediate reply.
No one said anything initially until someone spoke..
"Us."
I always inside thinking '???' LOL. Of course I didn't raise my hand and said "me me me" I dowan to sound gay like that. SO being the 'wanting-credit' me, I of course expect someone to say my name.
I think the reason my classmates said "us" was because they thought she was talking about the whole haunted house and wasn't just the flyer. But I understood the question 100%.
Then she said.. "Impossible! I doubt you all can come together and come up with this" or something like that.
Then the class just replied in a very soft tone stating they really are doing it or something.
1000005% misunderstood.
So me, being a victim and biggest loser of the situation, knew she didn't believe and would ask my class rep. Come on la! I really want to get a good impression okay? It was my chance and I just can't screw it like that!
And I was right, she DID ask my class rep after that. After she gave us some work to do.
But I think my class rep misunderstood it too. Or somehow he just didn't want to say my name. Argh.
My teacher asked the same question again to my class rep. I tried listening to the conversation.
"So who did this?" She was clearly interested and curious.
My class rep replied "Erm, we discussed about it and ....came up with it"
Me : -_________-" Huh. ?_?
?_?
-____-
WTf?
SUPER 50000006% misunderstood wei!
Or somehow he just doesn't want to give me the credit I deserve.
AHHHHH.
Cmon la. I have this thinking. As a designer who is not receiving any pays whatsoever, I deserve the credit at least. But I didn't even get that.
And not only that, I missed a FANTASTIC chance for my teacher to get a good impression on me!!!
What you expect me to do ler?! Go up in front and tell her I did it?! No rite.
So omg.
All wasted.
The whole class after that. I damn boh song. She was clearly super interested and amazed with the flyer. She ran out of compliments describing it.
Sigh. Not being lanc la.
But just.
You know la.
As stated above.
:(
A huge chance gone.
Haih.
Learnt my lesson at least. From now on, all my designs. Will have my signature at the bottom.
Too late to regret. Hope she finds out sooner or later of course.

Tomorrow I have to go back to college after a 1 week break.
Haih.
Dun feel like it. Prefer to stay at home, staying up till 4am, waking up in the afternoon and tuning in to the Commonwealth Games then spending some time online and repeat the whole process all over again.
Unlike some other ppl who have boring lives at home(hehe), I'm not as keen to go back to college. Zzz again.
I think I found the reason why.
The piles and piles of work AND Specialist Mathematics.
I dun like it when I receive much homework which I have to do because if I don't, I won't understand as much on what is happening in class during lectures.
And also,
specialist maths. Once in a while, my teacher would just like to randomly walk around the class to check whether we had done the work. I mean seriously la.. so zzz.
And I'm one of the worried bunch because .. of certain obvious reasons.
Hopefully it will change tomorrow!
I want to get the liking-college mood all over again.
cmon alex!
be more hardworking!

I just can't get enough of this song!
I was watching the commonwealth games opening ceremony few days back when almost at the end Delta Goodrem appeared from the centre of the stage and started singing this song.. I think the title should be Together We Are One but ANYWAY, it was freaking good!! I wished I got the video man. When she sang, got ppl with fireworks around her and woahhhh!! CANNOT TAHAN. SO DAMN GAYA.
And Delta looked so chun that night. O.o
Delta Goodrem - Together We Are One
Damn gaya song okay.
Dem meaningful summore.
Just try to imagine ppl moving around her carrying fireworks at their backs.
Esp during the climax of the song.
Ahh.
I shud go hear it again now.

Ehh!
I realised something.
I didn't read the papers yesterday so just now when I went through to see how the SPM results were like..
As usual la, got this group of happy faces screaming for joy scoring double digits 1As..
So as I looked at the photos of the top scorers of the country.. this guy ..who scored 15A1s.. was showing his slip to the camera..
Then I realised something! Guess what?!
He didn't get 1A for 1119!
Hahaha! SO which means, I got higher than him for that one grade!! Hahaha. Damn proud lor.. beat top scorer in something. Bwahahaha.
I know I sound stupid and u are probably giving me that "-____-" face.. but bear with me pls! HAhahahaha! I need to find news which would make me feel better! Just give that consolation to me pls. thx. =)
It feels good cause... it's like..saying... u got a better low-register voice than Mariah Carey.. cause it's like..ppl saying she's one of the best in singing and u actually beat her in one part of her singing.. u get it?! :D
And yea yea! Another thing.. this girl who wasn't enlisted in the top scorers list.. cause she got 15A1s but 1A2 or something.. guess what she got A2 for.. EST! I got 1A for that okay?! Bwahahahaha!
I feel dem smart. I beat another high scorer for a subject.
Okla enuff.
Thx for your time.
This is satisfying.

I have collected my SPM results today.
I don't know whether to be happy or to be sad.
Before the SPM, during the revision weeks, I actually had a small target placed and not many actually know about it.
I was targetting for my 5 core subjects to score A + my EST subject. Then my 7th A will come from one of the 4 science subjects. I did that cause I know I sucked in my science subjects and to pick 1 out of 4 sounds more reasonable then to score A in all 4. So I came with a target of 7As. The minimum to get price money from the school during Scholastic Award Day.
However, during/after the SPM, I found my target a little too hard to keep. So my prediction was a far cry from my original target. From 7As I originally planned, my prediction went down to a mere 2-4 As. The reason being, I know I sucked for History.. BM was a tricky paper and my science subjects seemed to impossible for me to get an A in any of them. And thus, my target.
So I kept this 2-4As target with me from the day SPM finished on December 2nd till yesterday night. I always had a little space for this tiny glimpse of hope inside me which I often refuse to think about. But it's still there.. I know the possibilities of me achieving outside my 2-4As prediction is there. Afterall, the forecast I achieved was a mere 4As. With a mixtures of Bs and Cs. Seemed tremendously horrible for a student in a Science class. Many friends of mine would dread to have results as bad as I had gotten for my forecast. In fact, I know some ppl who got like many As and 1-2 Bs for their forecast but they are like damn disappointed for some reason.
Honestly, ppl like that makes me laugh. To think of the standard difference and the expectations level is ridiculous. Why such huge contradiction in satisfaction. It is just funny and quite annoying to some extent.
So like I've said, my 2-3As prediction was with me till yesterday night. This morning I woke up and already was thinking of how to face my parents after showing them my 2-4As which I will not be surprised with. I may be disappointed because I always expect a surprise, but that's just another annoying part of me. So in the car on my way, I already told my mum what I expected and we had a slight 'talk' about it. It wasn't exactly an argument but I guess I was just trying to prepare her for the worst.
When I've finally gotten my results. My initial reaction was 'hell yea'. The teacher in charged was looking at my slip and counting the As I have. He didn't stop after 2-4. He went on further, slightly. I was quite surprised. I feel mixed and confused. It was just so weird.
I suddenly didn't feel as happy as I thought I would be when I beat my expectations.
I thought I would be happy, but I wasn't feeling particularly overjoyed or something.
I was just.. confused. It hurts even more when I realised I am just about right in the middle of my class. 40% of my class are top scorers. I'm about the 50% and above.
I went out after that with the guys.. eventhough my results were congratulated and acknowledged positively by some of my family members, it wasn't great if compared to my frens.
It is also confusing because I have this group which is congratulating me and on the other hand this group which would definitely think if they had gotten my results, they would be darn disappointed. I duno what to feel right now. I am sandwiched right in the middle.
And yea, the top scorer of my school achieved 12As. 9A1s and 3A2s. Congrats to him. Since my school is a small shitty school with only 50+ students taking SPM last year, the results are pretty good. My class did the best expectedly being the only science class of the school..(the other class doesn't count cause it only has 6 students).
I am not happy nor sad.
I am just,
confused.
:/

I know I said I don't fking care too some.
I know I said screw it to some.
I know I said it wouldn't matter to some.
But now I feel,
it is only human if i start feeling the tension for the spm results.
I dont think it is caused by my own personal curiosity or interest.
I think I am feeling it because of all the hype surrounding me regarding the SPM results.
Everywhere I go, ppl are talking about SPM results. Bla bla bla. How much they need to score and all. I don't feel the same way.
I feel it because ppl are feeling it. U geddit?
At first I thought I stood a teeny weeny slim chance to score a miracle.. but the more I think, the more I look at it, the more I think about my past and my results I scored last year, the less hopeful I am.
I read back my blog archives reading the 9 days of SPM i had.
I could see I felt no confidence in scoring A for the science subjects and several core subjects.
So why should I feel the confidence now? I know myself best right after I did those papers.
I think another reason on why life as a student sucks is because you have all these examinations. It is not because of how much you need to study for them but it is because of the "results" you anticipate for.
Sometimes you don't anticipate it, but the ppl around you do. And that's exactly my case. Curious family members and close friends just would want to know ur results. You know you already sucked in the examination, you know you wouldn't score well. Everyone can roughly figure out what they'll get after sitting for the papers.. and yet, you tell everyone around you that you gonna get sucky results but they just wanna know anyway.
It hurts to tell ppl a bad result.
3 years ago, 2003. PMR Results.
I felt the tension like a mad cow. It was even more tension-ed than how I am feeling now. But I didn't feel the "what-if-I-get-bad-results" feeling. I honestly didn't.
Even if I did, it would be easily cured. That was because I knew if I hadn't scored well, I would still enter form 4 and then form 5 and then I will have to sit for my SPM which hopefully I will be motivated to study.
But I DID score well for PMR. Fantastic in fact. So my happiness doubled and my confidence grew. And I never knew what does a disappointed feeling over an examination result felt like.
That is why I am feeling all these jumbled up feelings right now. I already know I won't score well. I am just thinking on how the disappointment will feel like.
I am thinking on how am I gonna face my parents and my friends. I told ppl I wouldn't ask for their results if they don't ask for mine. That was the deal I made. But honestly, I really wanna know everyone's results but I just don't want anyone to know mine. I know it's selfish. But I have reasons to it.
The reason I am afraid of scoring badly is because for one, the impression I will give to my family and friends. I hate ppl thinking I am a dumb kid with no brains and only knows how to face the computer and online 24/7. I honestly hate it.
I want ppl to see my as an average study-able kid with a healthy mind. But it doesn't come if you do badly for ur examinations.
My PMR results also place many false impression about me. I am not smart. I am not intelligent. My PMR results were a fluke or the exams were simply too easy.
Anyone could had scored. I was just a little more lucky. But NO. After the results, ppl will expect more or similiar from me for SPM. I hate it. It's disgusting.
That is why I felt rejuvenated and happy when Kim told me she wouldn't look down on me whatsoever if I really did badly for my SPM. She would just think of me as lazy.
I love that thought.
I really hope my parents would take it lightly regarding my SPM results. I hope they wouldn't be sarcastic or angry but just laugh it off. I seriously hope they do.
And I also hope I wouldn't get flooded with phone calls after the results which happens to be in a few hours time. I just want it to be a normal day.
I can just feel the disappointment now.
I duno how long it will last.
I hope it disappears soon.
Once in a while, I like to imagine what if I really did score well. But after a few secs of imagining, I quickly shook the thoughts off as I know it will just increase my disappointment to a larger extent.
I keep telling ppl I dont care about the results. But if I don't, why have I typed so long regarding the SPM Results. It's 3:43am now as I type this sentence. I will be going to school at around 10-11am later.
I have frens who are expecting straight As or many many As.
I don't know what to say.
How nice if I could invent a machine which would tell me everbody's results and then after that make everyone not interested in discussing about the SPM results anymore, better if erased from memory.
However much I try to forget the results tomorrow, ppl would still be talking about it. I also have to pass my results to the college(hopefully they don't consider kicking me out). Frens will discuss. Online forums will ask each other on how they fared. It will/may still be a topic of conversation in my family.
I want to collect my results as I am dead curious and just forget it all.
But I am just wishing for an impossible thing to happen.
I can just smell the bad cloud which overshadowed me for the whole of last year approaching me now.
Go away. Pls.

I can't help but blog again. 2nd time today!
:D :D :D
My sister's fren wanted to use the computer just now.. So I went to the kitchen instead to munch on some food.. Then I saw this typical Hindustan movie featuring Shah Rukh Khan. At first I treated it as a normal sing-dance love romance movie..
But I continued watching while munching on my food.. Then I realised..OMG. This movie is good man!! Something about the Pakistan and India alliance thingy.
Got fighting and all. I thought the camera and the plot was excellent. The acting was very good too. Except for some corny pigeon-flying-past-when-the-hero-gets-hit-part, I figured it's actually a very well produced movie. Quite entertaining towards the end too. This is the first time in many years I wanted to finish the show.
And the girls were damn gorgeous as usual. Bollywood girls. XD
I came back from a haircut.
Haha. After so long. I feel much fresher and lighter. My thick bushy long hair has been thinned finally. I am liking the new style currently. I didn't re-dye it though.. color still visible. Maybe my next haircut round I will.
Hahaha. I took photos of my new hair again.. I didn't take the before though, because I couldn't get a nice shot.. I tried but it didn't work. =D

My 'shortened' hair!
Haha!

I just came back from my 3-hr Practical Seminar.
Haahahahahaha. Everyone in that class passed undang. I bet my story of passing is one of the more 'different' one. :)
So they told us a little more about the tests and all. Thinking about it also damn nervous. Nooooo~
I got this feeling like I will fail. Pretty scary. I think the failing for Undang affected me. :/
I gonna go for 3-hr basic driving next week. I tried a manual car before with Allen's car and wasn't really 'feeling' it. Hopefully with a proper instructor I can fare much better. At least I got a very slight headstart compared to the other newbies. Just waiting from a call from my instructor.. holiday next week btw for me.
SPM results on monday. Lala.
I going off to cut my long messy dyed hair after I finish my Korean Instant Noodles.
Oh wellz.
Cya all.
Bye.

I just can't seem to get rid of the habit of coming online as soon as I get back from college.
My very brief daily timetable without the eating times is something like this. Wake up, college, TV(optional), online, sleep. I'm not exaggerating. It's like this EVERY-SINGLE-DAY.
That is why I try to finish my homework in the library before I arrive home. Because when I arrive home, it is basically GG. Unless I have something really, really important to hand in the next day. Other than that, I just won't do. So if it happens that I don't do my work in the library after college due to some circumstances, then... that's just too sad.
Sigh I just made a very honest confession. :(
SPM Results next monday! Bwahaha. I just love to make ppl my age feel uncomfortable.
SPM SPM SPM RESULTS. BWahaha.
I'm actually stupid enough to affect myself that way. Sien. Hopefully nothing too negatively significant will be posted up on the blog soon. =)
I designed a flyer for my class charity drive event! I asked my fren to design another and we eventually figured his should be posted around campus and mine should be distributed by people to other people.
So fellow Taylorians, check this out!*

Come la. If don't feel like supporting us also at least think of the charity part!
All our hardwork for charity guys! Think! :D
And also,
I bet none of you know I'm totally crazy over Holiday by Greenday. LOVE THAT SONG MAN! I KNOW IT'S OLD AND RELEASED LONG TIME AGO. BUT IT WAS SOMETIME EARLY THIS YEAR WHEN I HEARD IT AGAIN AND WAS LIKE WOAH!!!
GUARANTEED TO MAKE ME MOVE MY HEAD AND FEET EVERYTIME! HAHAHHA!
Pwned.

Ok so to sum it all up, this is how it went.
I used 30 mins yesterday to complete the test.
I got 39/50 when I got a few wrong for the 3 sections each.
Today however,
I used 14 mins to complete the test.
My section A got 15/15
My section B got 25/25
My section C got 6/10
Add them all up, I got 46/50.
Passing mark is 42/50.
WOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YEAH~!
The troublesome-worried-about-colorblind part is all over.
Driving license, here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe what just happened.
OK this morning, or afternoon rather.
I left home to sit for my Undang examination. Yes, that car test.
Which I WAS SUPPOSED TO fail the colorblind part.
Which was the first 5 questions.
I walked in to the RILEK Center(where you sit for the test).
Small room. 2 workes at the registration counter.
I took a deep breath and walked to the counter.
"Nak duduk undang"
"Give me your IC," the malay man replied.
He stared up at me. I realised he's one-eyed for some reasons.
I took out my wallet and gave him my IC.
"First time?" he asked after clicking a few keys and click on the keyboard and mouse.
"yeah,". I duno whether to say I am colorblind straight to get rid of the hassle or not. So I just followed procedure.
He then asked me to read several sentences of rules that was attached on the table. I read. And got even more troubled.
JIKA CALON DAPAT SATU SALAH DALAM UJIAN RABUN MATA PUN, MAKNANYA SELURUH UJIAN GAGAL.
-_________-
So I put on my innocent acting face and asked,
"Kalau dapat salah macammana, like tekan salah etc.."
He looked up at me with his one eye. He really has one eye. I was like thinking his vision condition is even worst than mine.. I really shud appreciate myself mroe.. and he wouldn't laugh inside him of my defiency.
"Mesti dapat surat doktor,"he replied.ZZz. Misunderstood my question but nvm.
Anyway,
my initial plan was to ask a friendly person there to help me. But when I was there, there was only this 2 malay ladies who are frens. And this girl with a bf at another corner. Who to ask. The 2 malay ladies got the face of 'dont-talk-to-me' kind.
So i sat myself and waited.
The wait was grueling. It was tough.
I sms-ed a few frens asking them what to do.
So many thoughts at my head that time. What if I get the question wrong. I walk in and walk out in less than 5 mins. Will there be a big alarm. Will there be a big UJIAN GAGAL at the computer? How. I was sighing almost every minute.
Then they called a malay girl's name and told them the procedures.. And another malay lady followed suit.
Then he finally called.
"Yeo Chia Yuan"
I looked up from my slouch.
And walked towards the counter.
"this is it," I thought.
So i was informed on what to do and all and walked it. Heck I didn't even know which computer I was supposed to go to. Then at that very instance one of the registration man passed the room and I quickly stopped him. He told me to look at the number that was given. He didn't seem irrirated. I think he is used to it.
I sat at the computer I was allocated to.
They somehow put the 2 malay frens together. How zzz. And put me far away at a corner.
I saw the screen. Was supposed to key my IC in. I jsut wanna finish it quick and get it over with and walked out asap after I fail and get wrong for the test.
To my desperation, I keyed in my IC wrongly. I tried to backspace. Nothing happened.
ZZZ. I was panicking. I walked out of the room and called him. He quickly say go in and I will go there! They msut be thinking how troublesoem this boy is.
When I went it. I finally saw the Backspace function.
-___________-
Sigh. Then he came in and deleted my whole IC. I have to pretend I don't know.
Sigh. What bad impression I gave. And to think I will fail the colorblind test sure make them think of me even lower.
So the test started..
Ujian Rabun Warna.. Kalau gagal bla bla bla doktor bla bla bla.
Okla! How many times must they emphasize it.
Then it started. The bloody colored dots thing.
First question. Was quite confident. Can see abit. Ok choose closest.
2nd. I saw a ball. No square. Quickly choose the square and ball answer as I saw this in a book before. 3rd question. Didnt know if it was 45 or 46. Choose 45 as it look like it closest. 4th Question. Can see abit of number. Choose closest. 5 Dotted question. Can't see anything. But diagram was very familiar. Choose 3 which I thought was the answer of it I saw in the book before.
Then they came out one big red circle and asked me what color was it. And then green. -__-
They asked me if I wanted to check my answers or end that test.
I ended it.
Tahniah! Anda lulus dalam Ujian Buta Warna.
8/8
Huh.

HECK?!!!!!!!
-___________-!
?????
I was. Like. Huh?
This is not it!
I was supposed to fail and get mistakes and walk out of that room!!!
But it didn't happen.
Another half of me was feeling like ,"omg u passed. just try to pass Undang now"
The vision test was super easy. I passed it too.
Then came the 50 questions.
WHICH I WAS NOT READY AT ALL.
THE LAST TIME I DID 100+ QUESTIONS OUT OF THE 500 QUESTIOSN BOOK WAS LIKE a year ago.
DIDNT EVEN FINSIH THE BOOK.
I DONT KNOW ANYTHING.
To cut things short,
I found the test to be incredibly tough and unfair.
They asked me some injap minyak question. And some motosikal question.
How the heck do I know.
And some road sign questions which I never saw before.
I spent so long for that test. I didn't even think I would be sitting for it that very instance. But I did.
And when I clicked Tamat Ujian finally.
A big 78% appeared on the screen.
Anda telah gagal Ujian Undang or whatever.
.............
What a freaking dumbass.
Honestly I felt so LOW that time.
I know I wasn't even ready.
But still I felt VERY LOW.
I was so close yet so far.
I finsihed the color test.
But why. I didn't even plan to take the 50 questions test.
Why. So near. Now I gotta call the instructor again and inform my frens.
And to sit for the undang exam again is just so troublesome.
Why.
My instructor alraedy called and booked the resit for tomorrow.
I gonna try to do the 500 questions later.
They said 2nd time no need sit for color test.
Why does everything seemed like they are playing me.
I got 39/50 in case u are wondering. 42 passing mark.
I got the lowest I think in my group of frens.
I'm blogging at Inferno now a cyber cafe in SS15. I walked there, waiting for my transport to arrive. Still waiting now. I gotta go back to the centre later to tell them about me going back tomorrow. Feeling nervous about it alraedy. What if I really did fail again or something. The embarassment.

I'm gonna sit for Undang tomorrow to fail it. Woohoo!
I'm thinking whether I should go and tell them straight I need a form or fail it first.
I think i'll fail it first. It'll be interesting to see how the test continues if I get a question wrong.. :D
Spec Maths CT1 was a bitch. Remember my post saying if it's over 50 i'll get negative 13? Trust me. My real marks isnt really far from that.
I duno how man. Half-giving up on it already. Planning to concentrate more on IT, maths, esl, phy from now on.
What the F was I thinking choosing that subject anyway?
Feeling slight regrets now.
Spec maths lecturer can be seen lost all hopes on me.
How.
Sad.

The reasons I've not been blogging are plain and simple.
For one, I have nothing to say. Everyday is a normal boring average day.
Secondly, no mood and feeling kinda lazy to type things on a site.
So anyway,
Funnily enough I was hardworking enough to spend hours creating my clan forum.
It's up and active.
Hope it will be big. Bwahaha. Not die like the class forum.
PM me for the URL.
Blogging for Taylors College SJ The Web currently. A cybercafe with no games allowed thingy. Pretty nifty place. Comfy, noisy, many coms and can print assignments anytime. Very convenient indeed.
Classes have increase their workloads.
Subjects are harder to understand.
Assignments piling up.
I'm sandwiched between all these.
And to think I'm only at the 3rd month scares me.
I have an ESL essay test tomorrow which counts to the final percentage.
50 mins 400 word essay. I hope I don't get pulled away by the topic tomorrow. If i don't, I should be alrite.
Just realised more than 1 of my SAM classmate visits my blog. O.o
Must be careful of what I type now.
Bwahahaha.
Btw, today my Specialist Maths teacher whom I think has one of the best brains I've ever seen walked around the class checked if we had done our work. When she came to my table, I showed her one of the exercises I've completed. But I was also too honest.
Lecturer : Review Set 2B.. ok good!
Me : I did review set 2A on a seperate piece of paper and forgot to bring it! (smile)
(I then clumsily flipped the exercise 2B around to distract her)
Lecturer : Why you havent finish har... I saw you doing question 7 just now..
Me : Yea..hehe sorry.. (silent tone)
Then she said something which really was significant. LMAO.
Lecturer : Boy.. I can see you are weak in this subject.. you gotta work.. I can't help you if u don't help urself.. come on. (very polite-motivating tone)
Somehow her last sentences sound louder than her previous sentences. Omg. Hahaha paisehnya.
But anyway, she really did motivate me somehow.
But the thing that troubled me more was.. omg?! How she know!! Lol!
She must know I'm some dumbfuk now in the class.
But at least I dont have the reputation of being dumb + naughty.
:D
Duno lah.
Damn stressful liau SAM.
How come no one warned me!!!

Having a disability can be quite a good thing sometimes.
Just today, I had a Maths Common Test 1 on my break time. So obviously I didn't have my maths period which was supposed to be at 1pm today. 2pm I was gonna have LAN but I skipped that. So basically, I finished class at 1. -_-
Don't ask me how my maths CT was. I can see that ppl took it better than I did. haih.
So anyway, my dad took me to the eye doctor after class..
I was gonna have my eye formally checked for ... colourblindness.
*gasp*
Okla.. actually I already know I got colourblindness. Proven long time ago.
But I gotta go anyway today.. cause I need a letter. Bloody JPJ doesn't want an optimetrist's letter. They want a DOCTOR's letter. So I went for an eye check.
Funnily enough, I saw the same book they showed me at the optimetrists'. The charts. And what numbers you will see if you are colorblind. My dad was clearly amused by the fact I'm listing out all the REAL numbers wrong and seeing the numbers a colorblind person should see.
-____-"
*deng*
The doctor(who was a nice guy) told us that normally JPJ will provide them a form and they will fill it up.. saying if I'm fit or not to drive. Oh yea, in case you don't know.. I need the form to pass my Undang.
So anyway.. the doctor asked me to get the form from JPJ.
He told me to do this..
"Go sit for your test and fail it.. then they will give u a form and you come back here"
"-_-"(fail a test? what is he thinking) huh.. so do I need to tell them beforehand that I'm colorblind?"
"no need.. just go there and click click and come back ere"
"oh.. hmmm.."
Inside, I was thinking.. damn troublesome omg. Going to a test I know I will fail. Then the embarassment. What will happen if I click one question wrong for the colorblind part..Will everyone look at me..? What will the reaction of the person-in-charge there be... will I be barred from sitting for my Undang forever? Howwww??!
So damn mafan la.. calling my instructor.. going to the undang centre and fail a test.. then go back to the doctor's..then go back to the undang centre.. ZZZ!
Was reminded once again that I couldn't do a few jobs.. pilot.. chemical engineer...hong leong bank worker(duno y)... and some other stuff.
My driving license just got prolonged to an even longer day. Sigh. I will eventually get it guys! Just wait!!
Oh. In case you guys don't know what the charts are.. here are some examples I got from http://colorvisiontesting.com.. :)

Colorblind individuals should see the yellow square. Color normal individuals should see the yellow square and a "faint" brown circle.
True enough.. I only see a yellow square.. not even a single sign of a box.. or circle..whatever.

Colorblind individuals should see the yellow circle. Color normal individuals should see the yellow circle and a "faint" brown square.
The yellow circle is so distinct. Where the F is the square.
I know you guys are feeling proud that you can see! If u got no idea what circle or square I'm talking about.. talk to me. You are basically screwed like me too.

Colorblind individuals should see nothing. Color normal individuals should see a "faint" brown boat.
-_-" yala, yala very proud.
Here's another one which they normally ask.
I see nothing here seriously.

But funnily enough.. I'm not feeling sad or heartbroken at all. I'm taking it like nothing. I never really wanted to be a pilot anyway I guess.. but it doesn't concern my life now.. maybe next time I don't know. It's just delaying my driving license that's all. Zzz.
In fact, I'm quite proud of it if you ask my friends.. haha. Always, I like to guess the colors I have trouble seeing and love to see my friends "NOOO! ITS NOT" reaction.
Hahahaha. I feel..unique!
Ooo yea..on the other hand, SPM Results coming out real soon..

I am blogging from Taylors SJ library currently and out of my comfort of
home. :( Something happened with my regular transportation so I'm stuck
here in the library while waiting for Kelvin to finish his stuff in
the library. I don't really mind anyway. It's quite cooling here.
Coms are just a little sucky and internet is just a little slow.. but
i'm a tolerant boy. :)
Just around 30 mins ago, Kelvin suddenly decided to eat something.
I followed and we went to McDs.
We ate a while..
chatted.
gossiped as usual.
and talked behind ppl's backs.
:)
that's what u get when u have both of us together.
So anyway,
we decided to leave as we already spent more time than we should there.
We were going back to the library when..
I had the funniest shocking shock of my whole current SAM year.
HAHAHAHAHAH.
Kelvin..
u see..
was as usual attempting to walk funny.
There was this huge longkang we have to cross via a ramp
and Kelvin decided to take the SHORTCUT to the
main road instead.. which in the end
took much more time than it was meant to be. HAHAHAHA.
I took the safe route as usual as I still want to finish my year in SAM
happily without any severe injuries..
Kelvin, on the other hand.. tried the bloody tough route(imo), as i
think he tried to be gaya and show off the ability of his long legs.
It failed. Horrendously.
HAHAHAHAHA.
I can't stop laughing as I'm typing this post.
Freaking funny..
Ok my drawing sucks. Real life and online. I am trying to draw the scene
out with Paint. LMAO. Just try to picture it okay? Use ur imaginative
brain neurons! If there is such a thing. ;) I took a photo with my
handphone.. but I got problem sending it the computer.. So this will
do temporarily..

Ok this was the longkang Kelvin and I tried to cross.. I picked
the safe route of course.. the ramp. Kelvin on the other hand..
wanted to try something special and went to the shortcut.
Suddenly..
"Pap!"
Both of us who were at our own roads paused. Looked at each other,
and then looked down at the big drain.
"Oh shit"
"Huh?"
"Oh shit"
"???"
Kelvin was looking down at the longkang. I followed suit.
I almost had the shock of my life.
A half funny half worried shock u know.. those kind.
Kelvin's bloody student ID.. which he cleverly placed at the back of his
pants.. was in the bloody drain. HAHAHAHA. The white color of the
Student ID was so distinct it made the situation even funnier.
For a second, I thought Kelvin finally went to where he belonged. LMAO.

Kelvin's ID got hooked at the arrow marked HAHAHAHA.
So anyway, both of us were at lost of what to do. Kelvin insisted on
getting his student ID.. I told him otherwise.. I was like..
"Nvm la.. pay RM25 only..save the trouble"
"NONONO. I MUST take it. I cannot go back to the library!"
"Nvm one la.. I help you take ur bag and books from the library.."
Deep inside, I was laughing like mad.
Hahahahaha.
"Kelvin don't go and take la.. damn dirty you know.."
"I MUST la! And I don't think you got the strength to pull me up.. must
get help"
"-_-"
"Okla we find help from random strangers"
Then we started to look left and right for ppl who can help..
This man zoomed past us.. clearly not interested in us.
This chinese guy said he was rushing.
Then this .. african man.. passed. A student in INTI i think.
"Eh Kelvin go ask him.. go go go!"
(I was damn confident he will help.. non-malaysians seemed to be more
helpful)
Kelvin then proceeded and asked..
SO he was damn helpful and all la.. helped the noob out of the drain
after he took.
Hahahaha.
The situation was so funny you have to be there to see it.
And summore it happened to Kelvin Tan.
Hahahaha. Twice the fun.
So I'm finally back here with the comfort of the air conditioned library,
blogging and laughing at what just happened. Kelvin's beside me with
his hardly-rescued student ID card, looking satisfied on what he had
achieved.
Lol. However funny that was for me, I still gotta say I admire his
spirit man!
Honestly, if it happened to me, I would just say screw it.
I mean.. it's not really my fault.. i know my limits.. my stumpy legs
wouldn't allow me to do such thing.. And even if I could..the thought
of entering a longkang..
Ergh~
Hahaha.
Enuff for now.
Connection quite the slow over ere.

I just came back from SSC Sports day at Matsushita Stadium.
Damn hot(as usual).
Never thought yellow(my old house at school) would actually win it and I was correct.
It's nice seeing my old teachers once again. Some welcomed us gracefully some tried to ignore us by looking all over when we were 5 feet away. Fags. Now I know who actually cares and who doesn't.
It's nice seeing a sports day from a spectator's perspective. I'm not anymore involved in it so it was pretty cool.Watching the events really did bring back memories.
I thought about the time Praveen and Izman from red caught up to the yellow runner, Jazlan at the 200m race. I thought about the time Allen overtook Teck Eng at the 4X100. I thought about the time they announced us the winners of the cheerleading competition. I thought about the time we had wide smiles and grins on every yellow member when we had a feeling we had won. I thought about the time Kelvin led the cheer when we took the cheerleading trophy. I thought about the time they announced us overall winners. I thought about the time we threw whatever object we could find around us. I thought about the happiness of winning, and the happiness of seeing heartbroken and slightly embarassed faces of the blue house members. I thought about the time we celebrated, had this never ending smiles on our faces and the satisfaction of knowing all the hard work paid off.
I thought alot.
It was good, excellent memories. To be cherished for eternity.
Yellow got 2nd this year. Blue won. First time this ever happened in the SSC Sports Day history. The order I meant.. Blue, Yellow, Red. Ppl are probably wondering why I still spend so much time thinking about the fate of yellow house this year and the years to come.
It is because. Yellow has became a part of me. I was a yellow since SSC was ever born till my final years. I had to overcome strong critcisms, defended for the house, fought for the house, got burnt in the sun for the house, trained march past every single day for the house, motivated the members of the house, and most importantly stuck with my house on their highs and lows. We got 3rd 4 times out of 8.
We won 2. The rest we got 2nd including this year.
I hate ppl who badmouth his or her house when they are doing badly or lost the previous year. I hate ppl who changes their houses after their house lost.
But I didn't.
I stood tall and proud(well not really proud)
And one of the happiest thing that happened in my SSC history was winning the house cup last year with my buddies.
It signified so much.. my and our efforts combined together into winning it.
I have to admit I was abit affected by the results just now.. but not as much as few years back.
All I have to say is.. if SSC do have the fair system played, following every regulation.. the results will differ I'm sure. To lose will not be a big problem too.
Because we know we lost fair.
But if SSC is indeed fair in making the system, I then may not be in yellow house anymore. Noticibly by every single senior in the school, the way the sort the people to go to each house is ridiculous. If you look tall, lean, and strong.. okay red. If you look like the ideal runner, okay blue. If you look overweight or chubby, okay yellow.
It may just be a "sports day" some might say. But it's still a game. And all games have to be played fair.
And SSC just doesn't seem to get that in their money minded skulls.

I just realised I have another chance!
Today my ESL teacher told the class that if we wanted to submit a cover design for this year SAM yearbook "Winanga-Li".. we can!
Gave us a dateline and all. Showed us some examples pretty cool. Very unfortunate that she got all the yearbooks from year 2000 except the 2002 one which was my brother's year involved in the editorial board for SAM. Zzz.
Screw those 3 designs I published for SSC mag. I gonna try out for sure this year for SAM's mag! wooohooo!
and bloody Zhi Ven teacher damn bising. Not satisfied yet with the flyer thing i designed. GAhh!!! Want me to make it bigger add logo and all that shit. Damn mafan.
No mood to help him at all. Zzz. It's nice liau ok? -_-
So much work to do today.
Spec maths being bitchy as usual.
Maths studies teacher a.k.a homework lady doing what she's known best for.
Got some note-taking for 5 articles to do for ESL.
IT got some long so-called short answers questions to be completed.
Physics must submit some title for project.
WTF?
Work overload, tx.

Zzz.
Zhi Ven was bugging me to help him design a flyer like how I did for him last year.
I wasn't planning to do it initially today but he suddenly told me the registration starts next week and this friday he was gonna stick it around campus. After designing the whole damn thing not whole-heartedly, I found out from him it wasn't for his basketball club but for his class charity drive. -_-
Zzz.
I just helped another class gained profit! Grr.
Nah it's for a good cause.. so I don't mind. ;)
And indirectly, I'm helping him raise funds too by posting this 'flyer' thingy over here.
It's Wednesday guys!
U've just finished half of the week. Congrats!

Everyone's doing it so I can't lose out. =)
I hope everyone had as happy valentine's. I certainly did.
I had my 17th Valentines alone.Again. Nice streak. ;)
Shyan flew off this morning. A dedicated post to her will be done soon enough. This is not it, however.
<3 <3 <3
Hearts are fun to play around with.
Roses are red as usual.
I think i'm suffering from single-atrobia.Whatever that last part means.
Am I what some ppl will like a 'companion' to be?
Am I qualifed enough to take care of another?
Did I successfully make other ppl think what I want them to think of me?
Heck, I can't even take care of myself.
But hey.. who the heck cares?
Happy Valentine's Day all!

Around 15 minutes ago, I took my pendrive(which I have not used since late last year) down as I wanted to transfer my newly designed timetable into it to be printed somewhere else.
I viewed the contents and was very surprised indeed. :)
I found files I forgot was even there.
Last year's SSC magazine's editorial contents. :D
Not only I designed many of the pages in the magazine, I was asked to design the cover as well. I did 3 overall and let the board and teachers chose for themselves. So just now, I took a look at the 3 different covers I designed and analysed it a little.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look as nice as I first designed it. :(
Haha the covers are so funny I just have to post it.
Corny and messy are the right words for it. XD
Cover 1 has got dark and gloomy feel to it(at least that was what I wanted anyway).
The eagle is just there for some gaya reason and the contrast from darkness to light should be obvious but it obviously isn't. The forests below are supposed to be the dark side and the top bright area shud be the bright side. Like showing some change in alignment. Darkness to light.. get it? Those kind. Like Seri Cahaya bringing light unto the world. :)

Cover 1
Cover 2 is quite gay. Trying to be unique but didn't work out. The middle scenery section is just too contrasting with the light background. I was told the eagle looks extremely corny here. But wait a minute guys. Just try picturing this as a cover of a school magazine. It'll be freaking cool. I just wanna try man! The color.. first time in SSC history.. Yea..

Cover 2
Cover 3 is very similiar to Cover 2. I just doing it for Kim's sake. She got ideas of her own and wants to put the Seri Cahaya name and logo above instead of below. I don't remember who suggested bringing the 'dark forest' here.. But it just looks plain dumb.

Cover 3
So which of those 3 was finally selected?
None!
=D
Many hours in the computer lab and home each day thrown into the rubbish bin. :D
I'm so pleased. :D
No one informed me. :D
Why am I smiling. :D
I was then told the printing company designed the final cover or something. I was told all 3 covers were rejected for some reason.
So my final issue of Cahaya school mag which has me in it look like this!

Mag and Haris hand
p/s : I'm not disappointed or angry or anything.. Just frustrated on the fact that no one told me anything about designing a cover or what should be done etc. All they did say was ,"Alex. Design a cover" and I just did my job. No one checked my work until I submitted it. Oklah..to be honest how could I not be affected! Zz. Ok I admit the covers are not very nice but still! Tell me what you guys want wert. Zzz. And no, I'm not blaming anything on the editor. I'm still actually quite glad I did many pages in the mag. Proudest pages are the Editorial Board pages. 10q for ur time. :)
-alexeO-
After last week's post, I suffered from a lack of inspiration and ideas. And still is suffering now. :(
So on Thursday, Allen,Kelvin,Haris,Richmond and I sent Praveen off-ed at KLIA. He left to Trinity College at Melbourne for his foundation studies. The beginning of our high school friends seperations? I don't know. It just feels awkward having your friend flying off to another place for his studies. It's not like it didn't happen before.. Adrian left after Form 1, Janice after Form 2, Joyce after Form 3..
I mean it's just different this time. I just can't explain it.
So like what I did for Adrian, I'm gonna dedicate this little post to him! :)
Hm,
It IS gonna be different without having Praveen tagging around at outings. I just realised it after he flew. Lmao. He makes the outings different somewhat. His double personality enables him to mix with all sorts of ppl, joining different groups. It's weird cause I just realised recently that I was actually quite close to him to an extent cause I remembered overnighting at his house with Allen for a few times already. We actually had this link I thought we never had. Bwahaha. It'll be funny to overnight at his house if he is to ask me recently. None of our outings now can be done without an argument, insult or vulgarity. :) All in a fun way of course.
I guess my 'drinking' sessions have to be put on a hold now. Hahaha. He's the main organiser of this sorta things. My wish is to pour beer all over him next year in Melbourne(there's a story behind this). They're several ppl waiting for me there next year btw. I just HAVE to go.
Praveen can also be considered some sort of an all-rounder I guess. If only he buck up on his academics side. Hahaha. He's not the dumb type or the lazy kind. His general knowledge totally pwns mine. He just doesn't excel to a standard where ppl can praise his academics.. U know.. those kind. He's sportsman of the year in SSC for several years(not a big achievement since it's just 'SSC' actually). He was head prefect after *cough* a few problems last year. And he won some several pointless awards. To top that up, he knew me personally. ;) That's a one hella big achievement.

Praveen and Huey Shyan
Oh yeah, Huey Shyan will also be leaving to the same place on Tuesday. :S I'm losing more company! Bah, more details soon enuff.
So anyway, it's gonna be a dull-er year without his overexaggerated laughs and high-fives. Gonna miss our frequent teamup vs Kelvin and fights we ever had. And oh yea, we haven't 'settle' it yet. Or fight till someone dies. HAhahahahah.
Shit ler. As I'm writing this.. I'm thinking of more and more times I actually liked him(in a straight way of course).
So for another many months, I will just have to insult Kelvin myself I guess. Lmao.
It will be soon until I can see his dumb face and then have our 'close account' hand shake. Bwahahaha.

Sunday, February 05, 2006
I just came back from Huey Shyan's house an hour ago and feeling the extreme tiredness I should feel. My day started off at 11.30am when I HAD to wake up as the twins and Kelvin was supposed to pick me up for our planned 'pai-nien-house-to-house-thing'. So they sat for a while for courtesy sake and disturbed me while I was trying to get ready. I decided to bring my camera along as I thought it would be interesting to post the pictures I took for my very 'adventurous' day. :)
So I slept at 5am yesterday morning as I totally forgot about our initial plan. :(
Was dota-ing till 4am and finally felt like sleeping at 5am. Sienz. Had to wake up around 10+ to reply Teck Eng's sms regarding the time he would be coming and shit.
How sienz and tiring. So about 20mins before their arrival, I forced myself out of bed and took a shower. When they arrived, they spent time for a little while(just waiting for the angpau of course) and didn't let me get ready in peace. Thx anyway to the twins for fetching me the whole day! BWahaha. Before we left, we decided to take a picture to show our starting point.. before it all began.

The initial 4 before the group expanded. :) (at my house)
We left to KGSAAS after that to visit the KGSAAS ppl. It was only then we realised we could only visit Chrisanne as the others are either not there anymore or we are not really close to them. How unfortunate. -_- . We had to stop by at Vernon's place first as Chrisanne said she wasn't ready or something and ask us to take our time.
So we kacau-ed Vernon at his place and woke him up from his few hours sleep to spend time with us while we waited. From there, Gadafi went over and they both went to Chrisanne house with us in a little golden Kembara. :)

Teck Eng acting himself on the way to KGSAAS residentials.

Vernon forced to entertain us and Teck Eng.

Group Pic at Vernon's
When we arrived at Chrisanne's house, we were treated with some drinks(thx chrisanne) and some 'surprise' visit from Amy, Yin Ying and Wey Ping. Pretty cool as the gang became big and we started our first blackjack session. I lost alot that round btw. Was winning initially but had a losing spree all of a sudden. Nvm la. CNY once a year only wert.. Bwahaha.

Vernon getting excited over the card game.

Group Pic at Chrisanne's
So Chrisanne tagged along after that with us to Bukit Jelutong to visit Brandon Ho. Also met up with Jason Tee whom I've not seen for quite some time so meeting him again was kinda interesting. Only then I realised his flight was a few hours time from then so we had to say our goodbyes and hellos the very same day. -_-
Had another round of Blackjack there and that was when I realised how 'ong' Chrisanne is. I made her sit behind me when I played and I did win some money. O.o.

Group Pic at Brandon's
After that, went to Giant to makan MCDs and waved goodbye to Jason Tee who was gonna study in Taylors Australia. As soon as we ate, moved on with the twins to their Mobil station as that was the meeting place we set for Haris and Allen to join us.
Damn long later, only they arrived. Wtf man. But anyway, on the way to the Mobil station with the twins, we jumped off our seats like jacoons when we saw one nice rainbow right beside us! I mean.. it's the nicest rainbow I've seen to be honest. So curved. And so near! I could actually see the end!! Not literally the end.. but still! I can see the..almost the end. It's damn cool ler. It looks 46324623X better real life than in the photo I took! Gaya.

Nice rainbow. Best shot out of around 5 shots I had.

Twins acting boss
So after Allen and Haris arrived, 4 cars departed from the Mobil station to Nick's house. Didn't spend much time there unfortunately so we didn't get to catch the lion dance performance :( Saw some ppl who I thought I would never meet again too. :)
Interesting visit. Honestly hoped I could had stayed longer.

Rock Garden at Nick's house. Looks damn nice.
Departed from Nick's house to Shyan's house after that for a steamboat dinner!
It's like a friends gathering kinda thing so it's nice to see us interacting with each other again after so long. :( I ate super damn alot until I don't feel like I ate alot anymore. Yea that much. WTF i don't make sense. Bah screw it. The point is, I still had a satisfying dinner. And ate alot. Zzz.

Steamboat preparation at Shyan's place.

A bunch of greedy ppl.

Group Pic at Shyan's
Watched Arsenal beat Birmingham too after the makan session in the house. Chrisanne got a little tired so Haris sent her home and I just tagged along. :/ Thanks Haris!
I damn tired now btw. Not enuff sleep and too much activity for the inactive me.
College starting this coming Monday. Sien. Common Tests too. ARGHHH.
Fun's over for now I guess.
GG.
Yawn.

So after the gambling session at my grandma's place which I lost alot, we went back to the hotel. Renaissance Hotel imo, is.. good! I don't know if it's the new bed they introduced or something.. but if there's a day which I just wanna run off from society for a while, I'll go there. ;) Super comfortable and the bathroom rox too.
Speaking bout the new beds they were promoting like crazy, it comes with 3 huge pillows and nice white sheets. No more disgusting greenish/brownish blanket thing. Those are cheap. :)

They actually have this at the lobby. -_-

The beds at the room! So comfy.
Day 2 was as quiet as the quiet-est street in Malacca. So we had the usual "GONG XI FA CAI" and "HAPPY NEW YEAR" greetings. Had a gambling session too the moment we arrive after lunch. After that, my very kind hearted aunty decided to bring the 2 maids whom we brought from KL to go bersia-sia. I tagged along of course, as I wanted to test out my photography skills which..erm.. didn't turn out that fantastic.
Brought them to the big old ship made museum for some photo takings.

The Battleship. Or whatever u call it.
Also went to the A Famosa Fort as u know..the big brick structure is apparently very ..'historical'. Also felt proud to recite to them the history of Malacca as we passed by a few buildings. "Tengok bangunan itu.. dibina Belanda ketika Melaka dijajah oleh mereka.. Tengok itu! Itu Portugis bina untuk mempertahankan jajahan mereka dari Acheh.." I felt damn smart that day wei! Sejarah SPM sure A1! Unfortunately, at school, we don't only learn about the foundations of Malacca. :( Sigh.

Famosa Fort from a distance. Many visitors.

A Famosa. (play champions league soundtrack)
Also passed by 4 different religious ..how do u call that.. worship areas? There's this hindu temple, mosque, chinese temple and church. All built damn long ago!!!
And the interesting part is.. all just beside one another! Harmony man. All build around the 17th to 18th century. :) Nice feeling to your heart. Like facing history face-to-face. Chunted. Unfortunately, I was too distracted by the fact that i'm facing history until I forgot to take photographs. Sigh.
The whole day was a bore after that.. Did nothing was extremely tired so I went to bed early. My final day in Malacca, my family and I were treated to an interesting lion dance performance at the lobby of the Renaissance Hotel. Pretty cool. First time I saw the lion standing on a pillar held by many men below. Gayanya. I know they have this thing for making the lion vegetarian but this is the first time I see the lion eating the cabbage from many feet above balancing on one pillar. Damn cool!

Lion on pillar trying to reach for the cabbage.

Roar. I ownz j00.
The Wan-Tan-Mee stall which my family regularly go to at Malacca was closed that day.. So we tried another stall instead. It was quite good actually. Pretty oily but I'm okay with it. :) I'm not very picky when it comes to food. Except vegetables thx.

The mee strangely looks fatter in photographs than in real life.
Went around Malacca for some sightseeing(father's plan) and traveled back to my grandma's place again. Met up with aunty who wanted to try the Nyonya food. SO ONCE AGAIN, I left the house to eat. Zzz. The Nyonya food was pretty good.. except I was too full to finish the Nyonya Laksa. :( The Nyonya Cendol was super sweet but I like it. Damn refreshing. The Nyonya Rojak thingy was okay.. like any other Rojak. Not a big Rojak fan here. :(

Nyonya Bee-Hoon Laksa

Nyonya Cendol

Half eaten Nyonya Rojak. -_-

This is the stall if you wanna try. Apparently it's a house-made-stall. Very long inside. This man looks happy to be posing for me.
Then went back to Grandma's place ONCE AGAIN for our final goodbyes and see you next year that kinda thing. The trip there was pretty good and the most important part was being able to stick together as a family even after this many years. I don't think many families would be able to meet for like what..so many years in a row already? Hmm. :/
Next year, there's a possibility of me not celebrating CNY at home anymore. :/
But the possibility is still not high so I'll just screw it for the moment. :)
So,
CNY reunion gone.
College's starting again.
Life is gonna be as dull as the journey back to KL.

woosh~

Monday, January 30, 2006
My parents felt that 2 years is more than enough so they decided to celebrate the CNY back where it originally was.. Malacca. For the past 2 years, the Yeo family had been celebrating the CNY at my place, Shah Alam as they feel a change is required to toss away the old same routine and the boredom it may bring. But it isn't easy having a reunion at ur place. So...yeah.. :)
The trip back to Malacca was a relaxing one as the car had 2 ppl less this time. :D
It was definitely less fun but at least my sister and I got a bigger space to rest in the car for the journey there..

Damn jam wei. Frustrating!
Sun setting down on me.. :(
I left on CNY's eve so the jam was kinda obvious. Sigh. The supposedly 1 hour trip doubled in length and I had to suffer in the car. :(
Went straight to the hotel to drop stuff and went to the restaurant for the reunion dinner. Late as usual, being the Yeo family. Bwahaha. Met relatives and all there.
Pretty awkward as the the environment feels the same every single year. :/

Incomplete Yee-Sang. A must have for every CNY dinner
Went to my grandma's hse after that for the ang pau sessions from my aunty and uncles and of course, the gambling session. Bwahaha. I lost the most that night btw..compared to the other gambling session I had. ARgh.

A game of 21
Also played Mahjong and lost once again in the hotel with my cousins. !!!! Damn unlucky wei..Not noob ok? I got the set and all..but sometimes not enuff points to win.. or just plain lousy tiles. :(
Bah. I'll leave the rest for Part 2. :) Food pics coming up. Meanwhile, pls do call me for some mahjong or blackjack sessions. And I want to attend open houses! Don't forget to invite me pls..for all the good reasons :)

Just last year, when Adrian left for Perth after his holidays.. I honestly didn't feel anything at all. It was only this particular return to Malaysia he made that had caused the strings to be rebonded.

Honestly speaking, however gay it may sound, I feel like I wouldn't be the Alex Yeo I am today if I had never gotten to know him. Eventhough it was obvious he was finding me an average boy in his classes, I still felt much respect for him.
It may be because of his sister or just his frequent first positions in class. He was smart, friendly and fun to be with as well during my end of primary school years and start of secondary school.
I felt that I could relate to him most among others, and thus.. I had made him the guy I would talk to everyday. Primary school term : Best friend.
He was a damn nice kid that time. As in, no vulgarity.. no bad doings and stuff. Being his 'good friend', I had to control myself as to not get influenced into the darker side. I was seriously very easy to be influenced and I was quite sure Adrian was the one who had prevented me from being a terrible gangster-like kid. :)
I guess indirectly he helped me achieved my excellent PMR results. Bwahaha.
Eventhough we looked like worlds apart when we were buddies that time, we still had some very interesting similiarities!
Like, we both thought Kelvin was _______?
We both played table tennis?
We both discussed Wah Lai Toi movies?
And etc etc etc.
Honestly, I did and do not know what he thought of me that time. Maybe he was just 'layan-ing' me as I was talking to him everytime. I don't know.
But I think the friendship should be genuine. :)
When he left to Australia in Form 2, the first few days of school was extremely different. I think I felt the lost of his presence among the class. I remembered looking out of the window in my classroom on the day he was flying to Perth, wishing I could see the plane(omg how gay). It was kinda sad.
Like everyone knows, I'm not a very social person.. First few months of Form 2, I spent time walking alone, eating alone and spending time alone. It was only after a while which I realised I could not avoid the rest of my classmates and then joined the Praveen and Kelvin gang.. which had resulted into today's chain of friendship. :)
It is nice thinking about the good ol' days I had when Adrian was still in my class.
The dumb games we played, the times he helped me in something. Bah.
When he came back for holidays for the first time, we met up of course and hung out.
But slowly... the more he leaves and returns, we(the classmates) did not feel the need or urgency to go and see him anymore to be honest. Some ppl even thought he just come home and calls us out as he got nobody to hang out with. But this has changed in his most recent trip here. :)
Of course he's not the goodie boy Adrian anymore. He drinks, and.... stuff.
I do not even know if he still finds the friendship genuine or not.
All I know is, he will be leaving this Sunday on the 29th and won't be back till December.
And for that, I wish him all the best.
There is a possibility of me being able to study in the same environment with him next year.
And I'm sure he will make it there. The decision lies on me now.
Definitely not as close as we used to be but his company is still full of laughter and fun. Bwahaha.
And this post has no gay intention whatsoever.
It's just a post to wish him all the best this year.
And also to say that, for the first time in many years..
I may miss his presence once again.

MCB..

I can't believe it's approaching the end of January already. So fast.
Just the beginning of this month, I was in UK and about to start college.
Now, i'm already 1 month or less into college and feeling all stressed up already.
Well not really, but still! So much work. Nooo.
I have chosen a topic on aliens and life in outer space for my ESL research project.
I know it's quite common and every year there's surely some guy who would choose it. And that guy this year in my class is me.
Woohoo.
I can't think of anything else already. I'm not in a very inspired mood in the first place and secondly, I suck at thinking of topics anyway.
So if any of you guys got sources for my topic.. or just happened to come across an article on it in the papers or something, pls do inform me. I'll appreciate it to the max.
Transportation's a little less worry now. Chrisanne has gotten her cousin's driver to fetch her and myself to college everyday with a pay of course.
I don't mind. IT's so much more convenient.
Bloody JPJ rejected my letter stating I was colorblind. _|_ They want a DOCTOR's letter. Not an optimetrist. Damn dumb rite? Screw it la. Just wanna delay their job.
It's gonna be around June I predict till i finally get my license. Sucks.
Learning HTML programming for my IT studies currently. May practice new stuff on this blog. ;)
Adrian's flying back to Perth this Sunday. Since i'll be leaving to Malacca tomorrow till Monday, tomorrow's gonna be the last time I'll be able to see him till December.
If I work hard enough, I hope to see him in Melbourne U next year. IF.
Everyday I don't get enough sleep and the effects are showing already.
I don't know what else to update on.
Praveen's flying on the 9th next month, Shyan on the 14th. Koi Lin I believe on the 12th.
May only be able to send Praveen off since it's at night.
The others.. omg. Must think of solutions!
Asia Cafe has lousy food.
Salmon Steak is affordable.
Kopitiam opposite Asia Cafe selling Chicken Rice is nice.
I've never been to the Pasar Economy Rice stall yet.
Not gonna worry about getting banned at Blueserver anymore so I'll just leave games.
I need something to control me from playing games.
Thx.
CNY this sunday. Quite excited.
Mood's gonna be quite dead too anyway since many cousins and siblings cannot make it.
:(
I really wanna go Melb U next year.
I really wanna score well for SAM finals.
I really wanna understand everything I'm studying.
I really wanna be able to socialise with every single person.
I really wanna show my parents I'm actually working for my future.
I really wanna.
But just not desperate enough.

Another week of college begins tomorrow. Sigh.
It's like this clock which keeps ticking.. leaving you behind if you slack a little.
It just goes and goes.. if you don't catch up, that's your problem.
Soon enuff.. I may just be lost in this wheel of time.
I'm trying not to. But there's this force which is pulling me behind. Hard.
My other half. The lazy Alex half.
To simplify things, I have not yet done the work which I was supposed to do.
And classes start very soon. I feel like I just got dismembered by the Butcher from DotA. Sigh again.
My driving instructor hasn't called back. As expected. What a fag.
I realised something on my bed last night.
As I was blanketing myself, I thought of the reasons why I find it hard to adapt so easily to new surroundings.
I realised that, I am very very picky when it comes to situations.
It's like..
Ppl can accept another person easier than i do. For example, during this random grouping presentation thingy I had for ESL class, there was this guy who doesn't really know what Reality TV is and english was kinda on the weak side. But this other guy, who seems to be fluent in english and know as much or more than me.. just listened and corrected him as if it wasn't his fault or something and went on with the discussion without a single look of disgust or without an insulting tone.
I mean.
Huh?
I feel so bad. I was like.. half heartedly pitying that fella on why was he such lowly exposed, giggling deep down inside me. But this other guy I mentioned.. just accepted it so.. like nothing at all.
I realised I've been an asshole throughout my whole life. Who am I to judge ppl anyway? I discriminate ppl. I criticise ppl. I insult them.
And all this while I thought I was doing it because EVERYONE does it.
But that's not true. It was only me. It's not like I say it out.. I just think to myself deep inside.. However, the fact still remains that...
I'm an ass.
No wonder I have problems with my transportation everyday. I have received the punishment I deserve. Sigh. I am really sorry to the ones I felt that way to.
You guys dont know who you are. Thank God for that.
I went for my haircut finally just now.
I didn't cut it alot. Trimmed a little.
Shit. Dad may diu me later. He loves seeing my hair short.
But it's not. I know he wouldn't be happy.
And he's in the room beside me now.
How how how.
Meeting him for dinner later. Gotta play the ignoring game later and just smile at his remarks.
Especially now that I've..
*drum beats*
..dyed my hair.
yes i did.
it would be easier to show pics.
since pictures show a thousand words anyway.

I love it. :)

I think it's very uncool that I have to depend on different sources of transportation everyday.
Super inconvinient as well.
I called my soon-to-be driving instructor yesterday regarding my Undang test. He just told me he will submit my colorblindness letter to the JPJ and call me back to inform me when can I sit for the test. I don't know if that's an excuse or what but I have serious doubts on whether he will be calling back or not. I shall bug him later to force him to help us asap. In us, i meant chrisanne and I. If it's really more troublesome for a colorblind person to sit for undang, I'm just wasting Chrisanne's time. This sucks. I have given the opportunity for someone to create a super good excuse out of thin air. It's not my fault. Blame the genes. :P
I don't know when will I finally see myself holding my driving license. If that day is tomorrow, then today will be the happiest day of my life.
I'm troubling different ppl everyday. I do feel bad and guilty too. So far, thanks 1st sis, praveen, kelvin, vernon, gadafi.
It'll be nicer if that list doesn't grow cause I owe alot to them already. But it will. I know it.
So new rules, eh? Government trying something funny. By allowing u to sit for the lessons only after 1 month after getting ur Undang over with. Thx for troubling your citizen here who needs to get his ass to college everyday just to help improve the country's economy in the future. U're not really helping, just to let u know.
My college is fine. So far. My classmates are cool. It's just that it's me who's not doing the talking. They already have a regular joking gang already. Only that I'm not in it. It's me. I'm Alex. I'm not a very social person. I am trying. Sigh.
Classes are okay. So far understandable. Gotta start my mathematical studies homework soon. I need practice.
I screwed my ESL Show and Tell presentation just now. Don't ask me about it. I dowan to be reminded of it. It's just not easy performing in front of ppl whom you are thinking what they are actually thinking about u. I do not have that problem last year. That's because, I know everyone.
How much do an average college student spend per day anyway? I've been paying RM5 for my meal everyday. I duno if that's too much. Sounds costly. I don't use RM5 on an average basis in school. Zzz.
So 2nd week of college has ended. And I don't really miss school yet.
I really need my license. My Proton Waja is waiting for me at home.
I am getting.. impatient.
I'm worried one day I'll just drive off from home.
How.
How.
How.
-alexeO-
Still very desperate for a driving license.
It's getting to another level now.
It sucks. Sigh.
Got some presentation to do for ESL tomorrow. Some show and tell kinda thing.
Duno what to do yet. Cmon Alex. Best speaker for debate?? :P U can do better!
How am i going tomorrow?
How am i going home?
I don't know. :/

3 days into college, and i'm not feeling fantastic. The subjects are okay and all but i realised adapting takes harder then i thought it would be. Chinese speaking friends will go for chinese speaking friends. English speaking friends seemed to have a group originally already. The guys in my class are either booksmarts or dota freaks. Maybe it's better if I don't make that many friends and only a few. That'll be better for my studies. But wouldn't I be branded as a loser then. *Gasp*
Maybe.. I should just stay on the fence and don't get distracted too much to be on the friend-friend side. That way, I can be nice to everyone and still have time to study. Sounds like a suitable part to play in.
Hmm.
Specialist maths i realised is not easy. Yea. Just first day into it and I know.
It's a subject I have to work extremely hard on.
Was warned about punctuality on handing assignments and coming to class too.
Gotta change.
Need to buy books desperately. Some prices are just ridiculous. And they don't allow photostated books. Maybe i'll just photocopy some if i'm really desperate.
I shud had bought them earlier. The seniors have already sold most of them.
Possibility of books being sold out is high.
Still meeting my cahayian friends regulary despite the tight timetables. During breaks and esp after classes. Monday-Thursday is stressful. 8-3 with an hour break in between. I finish at 1 on Friday. Seemed much more relaxing.
Re-newed my profile at the side there. Pls tell me if it's out of place or right at the bottom. Cause it's supposed to be there, right below my chatterbox. ZZz.
Transportation still is a big problem for me. Now I got Kelvin to send Chrisanne and I home everyday with a pay.
Going I have serious problems. Gotta start looking for Shah Alam-ers to fetch me there.
Sigh.
Called my driving instructor just now asked about Undang. He said he was driving or something and will call me back. He didn't.
Life is sad as a colorblind and a November boy.
:(
New friends, driving license, subjects, books, new friends, driving license, subjects, books.
What am i gonna doooooooooooooooooooooooooo?

SAM Orientation was today. It was.. awkward. In a sense that.. everything was so..alien. So just plain weird :/
Amazingly, I woke up an hour earlier before my alarm somehow. I think it's due to the jetlag I'm facing. Zzz. I also finally shaved off my moustache and chinaman beard. :( I look freaking weird now. Sigh.
So basically, I arrived in the morning. Then called up my friends. Walked up the stairs to the freaking HIGHEST floor and met Teck Kuan..and tried to collect my student ID and timetable. But what the heck.. the line was so freaking long to the classroom i was supposed to go to. And that time I wasn't even sure if i was at the right queue. Bah.
So I left. And went all the went down. Then I went all the way up again. Then down. Then up again. Sweated like an old dog. Wtf man. There goes my 'clean' image.
Finally got my stuff at that very class. And met up with more of my friends.
Then went to the class I was assigned too. And met my..other classmates. Who were kinda friendly.. but most of them shared a similiar feature. One guy introduced himself to me and said hi. I did the same. Sigh. 2 more friends said hi. I replied.
=/ Seeing the class I'm gonna spend 11 months with, I believe it should be okay.
I'll learn to socialise more. I have to.
Met up with ex-classmates at Starbucks and chatted a while too.
Classes start tomorrow.
I'm not looking forward to it at all.
When I told my ex-classmates I'll be doing Physics, they gave me that ..'look'.
Zzz. Damn offended. But shall prove them wrong. Bwahaha.
Mind not ready for studies.
And to think of the transportation problem stresses me more.
Who's gonna fetch me to and fro everyday.
Sigh.
What a troublesome start to my 2006.

College for me starts tomorrow. I wonder how's the situation like in Seri Cahaya today. It's gonna be weird having school without Alex there. Bwahaha. Gd luck to schoolboys and schoolgirls anyway. To the form 5s, don't follow my footsteps and struggle at November. Pls start early.
ADP also had their orientation today. So far, I only know 2 ppl that's doin ADP.
Many courses gonna have their first days tomorrow. Including mine.
My 1 month holiday has ended so quickly. I think it's the 2 weeks trip I had that has eaten my time I planned to use to laze around. Bwahaha.
And I can't even drive yet. I have not even sat for my Undang. Wtf. Damn mafan for me cause I got some colorblind problem. Gahh!! I only went for the first seminar thingy.
Who's gonna fetch me to college then? :(
Hopefully I can get my P by.. around February. Sigh.
Not ready at all.
Duno what to do.
Zzz.
