An update

The reasons I've not been blogging are plain and simple.
For one, I have nothing to say. Everyday is a normal boring average day.
Secondly, no mood and feeling kinda lazy to type things on a site.

So anyway,
Funnily enough I was hardworking enough to spend hours creating my clan forum.
It's up and active.
Hope it will be big. Bwahaha. Not die like the class forum.
PM me for the URL.

Blogging for Taylors College SJ The Web currently. A cybercafe with no games allowed thingy. Pretty nifty place. Comfy, noisy, many coms and can print assignments anytime. Very convenient indeed.

Classes have increase their workloads.
Subjects are harder to understand.
Assignments piling up.

I'm sandwiched between all these.
And to think I'm only at the 3rd month scares me.
I have an ESL essay test tomorrow which counts to the final percentage.
50 mins 400 word essay. I hope I don't get pulled away by the topic tomorrow. If i don't, I should be alrite.

Just realised more than 1 of my SAM classmate visits my blog. O.o
Must be careful of what I type now.
Bwahahaha.

Btw, today my Specialist Maths teacher whom I think has one of the best brains I've ever seen walked around the class checked if we had done our work. When she came to my table, I showed her one of the exercises I've completed. But I was also too honest.

Lecturer : Review Set 2B.. ok good!

Me : I did review set 2A on a seperate piece of paper and forgot to bring it! (smile)

(I then clumsily flipped the exercise 2B around to distract her)

Lecturer : Why you havent finish har... I saw you doing question 7 just now..

Me : Yea..hehe sorry.. (silent tone)

Then she said something which really was significant. LMAO.

Lecturer : Boy.. I can see you are weak in this subject.. you gotta work.. I can't help you if u don't help urself.. come on. (very polite-motivating tone)

Somehow her last sentences sound louder than her previous sentences. Omg. Hahaha paisehnya.

But anyway, she really did motivate me somehow.
But the thing that troubled me more was.. omg?! How she know!! Lol!
She must know I'm some dumbfuk now in the class.

But at least I dont have the reputation of being dumb + naughty.
:D

Duno lah.
Damn stressful liau SAM.

How come no one warned me!!!

Black and White

Having a disability can be quite a good thing sometimes.

Just today, I had a Maths Common Test 1 on my break time. So obviously I didn't have my maths period which was supposed to be at 1pm today. 2pm I was gonna have LAN but I skipped that. So basically, I finished class at 1. -_-
Don't ask me how my maths CT was. I can see that ppl took it better than I did. haih.

So anyway, my dad took me to the eye doctor after class..

I was gonna have my eye formally checked for ... colourblindness.
*gasp*

Okla.. actually I already know I got colourblindness. Proven long time ago.
But I gotta go anyway today.. cause I need a letter. Bloody JPJ doesn't want an optimetrist's letter. They want a DOCTOR's letter. So I went for an eye check.
Funnily enough, I saw the same book they showed me at the optimetrists'. The charts. And what numbers you will see if you are colorblind. My dad was clearly amused by the fact I'm listing out all the REAL numbers wrong and seeing the numbers a colorblind person should see.

-____-"

*deng*

The doctor(who was a nice guy) told us that normally JPJ will provide them a form and they will fill it up.. saying if I'm fit or not to drive. Oh yea, in case you don't know.. I need the form to pass my Undang.
So anyway.. the doctor asked me to get the form from JPJ.
He told me to do this..

"Go sit for your test and fail it.. then they will give u a form and you come back here"

"-_-"(fail a test? what is he thinking) huh.. so do I need to tell them beforehand that I'm colorblind?"

"no need.. just go there and click click and come back ere"

"oh.. hmmm.."

Inside, I was thinking.. damn troublesome omg. Going to a test I know I will fail. Then the embarassment. What will happen if I click one question wrong for the colorblind part..Will everyone look at me..? What will the reaction of the person-in-charge there be... will I be barred from sitting for my Undang forever? Howwww??!

So damn mafan la.. calling my instructor.. going to the undang centre and fail a test.. then go back to the doctor's..then go back to the undang centre.. ZZZ!

Was reminded once again that I couldn't do a few jobs.. pilot.. chemical engineer...hong leong bank worker(duno y)... and some other stuff.

My driving license just got prolonged to an even longer day. Sigh. I will eventually get it guys! Just wait!!

Oh. In case you guys don't know what the charts are.. here are some examples I got from http://colorvisiontesting.com.. :)

Image hosting by Photobucket
Colorblind individuals should see the yellow square. Color normal individuals should see the yellow square and a "faint" brown circle.
True enough.. I only see a yellow square.. not even a single sign of a box.. or circle..whatever.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Colorblind individuals should see the yellow circle. Color normal individuals should see the yellow circle and a "faint" brown square.

The yellow circle is so distinct. Where the F is the square.

I know you guys are feeling proud that you can see! If u got no idea what circle or square I'm talking about.. talk to me. You are basically screwed like me too.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Colorblind individuals should see nothing. Color normal individuals should see a "faint" brown boat.

-_-" yala, yala very proud.

Here's another one which they normally ask.
I see nothing here seriously.
Image hosting by Photobucket

But funnily enough.. I'm not feeling sad or heartbroken at all. I'm taking it like nothing. I never really wanted to be a pilot anyway I guess.. but it doesn't concern my life now.. maybe next time I don't know. It's just delaying my driving license that's all. Zzz.
In fact, I'm quite proud of it if you ask my friends.. haha. Always, I like to guess the colors I have trouble seeing and love to see my friends "NOOO! ITS NOT" reaction.
Hahahaha. I feel..unique!

Ooo yea..on the other hand, SPM Results coming out real soon..

Spirit of a plumber

I am blogging from Taylors SJ library currently and out of my comfort of
home. :( Something happened with my regular transportation so I'm stuck
here in the library while waiting for Kelvin to finish his stuff in
the library. I don't really mind anyway. It's quite cooling here.
Coms are just a little sucky and internet is just a little slow.. but
i'm a tolerant boy. :)

Just around 30 mins ago, Kelvin suddenly decided to eat something.
I followed and we went to McDs.

We ate a while..
chatted.
gossiped as usual.
and talked behind ppl's backs.
:)

that's what u get when u have both of us together.

So anyway,
we decided to leave as we already spent more time than we should there.
We were going back to the library when..

I had the funniest shocking shock of my whole current SAM year.
HAHAHAHAHAH.

Kelvin..
u see..
was as usual attempting to walk funny.

There was this huge longkang we have to cross via a ramp
and Kelvin decided to take the SHORTCUT to the
main road instead.. which in the end
took much more time than it was meant to be. HAHAHAHA.

I took the safe route as usual as I still want to finish my year in SAM
happily without any severe injuries..
Kelvin, on the other hand.. tried the bloody tough route(imo), as i
think he tried to be gaya and show off the ability of his long legs.

It failed. Horrendously.
HAHAHAHAHA.

I can't stop laughing as I'm typing this post.
Freaking funny..

Ok my drawing sucks. Real life and online. I am trying to draw the scene
out with Paint. LMAO. Just try to picture it okay? Use ur imaginative
brain neurons! If there is such a thing. ;) I took a photo with my
handphone.. but I got problem sending it the computer.. So this will
do temporarily..

Image hosting by Photobucket

Ok this was the longkang Kelvin and I tried to cross.. I picked
the safe route of course.. the ramp. Kelvin on the other hand..

wanted to try something special and went to the shortcut.

Suddenly..

"Pap!"

Both of us who were at our own roads paused. Looked at each other,
and then looked down at the big drain.

"Oh shit"

"Huh?"

"Oh shit"

"???"

Kelvin was looking down at the longkang. I followed suit.
I almost had the shock of my life.
A half funny half worried shock u know.. those kind.

Kelvin's bloody student ID.. which he cleverly placed at the back of his
pants.. was in the bloody drain. HAHAHAHA. The white color of the
Student ID was so distinct it made the situation even funnier.
For a second, I thought Kelvin finally went to where he belonged. LMAO.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Kelvin's ID got hooked at the arrow marked HAHAHAHA.

So anyway, both of us were at lost of what to do. Kelvin insisted on
getting his student ID.. I told him otherwise.. I was like..

"Nvm la.. pay RM25 only..save the trouble"

"NONONO. I MUST take it. I cannot go back to the library!"

"Nvm one la.. I help you take ur bag and books from the library.."

Deep inside, I was laughing like mad.
Hahahahaha.

"Kelvin don't go and take la.. damn dirty you know.."

"I MUST la! And I don't think you got the strength to pull me up.. must
get help"

"-_-"

"Okla we find help from random strangers"

Then we started to look left and right for ppl who can help..
This man zoomed past us.. clearly not interested in us.
This chinese guy said he was rushing.
Then this .. african man.. passed. A student in INTI i think.

"Eh Kelvin go ask him.. go go go!"
(I was damn confident he will help.. non-malaysians seemed to be more
helpful)

Kelvin then proceeded and asked..
SO he was damn helpful and all la.. helped the noob out of the drain
after he took.

Hahahaha.
The situation was so funny you have to be there to see it.
And summore it happened to Kelvin Tan.
Hahahaha. Twice the fun.

So I'm finally back here with the comfort of the air conditioned library,
blogging and laughing at what just happened. Kelvin's beside me with
his hardly-rescued student ID card, looking satisfied on what he had
achieved.

Lol. However funny that was for me, I still gotta say I admire his
spirit man!
Honestly, if it happened to me, I would just say screw it.
I mean.. it's not really my fault.. i know my limits.. my stumpy legs
wouldn't allow me to do such thing.. And even if I could..the thought
of entering a longkang..
Ergh~

Hahaha.
Enuff for now.

Connection quite the slow over ere.

SSC Sports Day 2006

I just came back from SSC Sports day at Matsushita Stadium.
Damn hot(as usual).
Never thought yellow(my old house at school) would actually win it and I was correct.

It's nice seeing my old teachers once again. Some welcomed us gracefully some tried to ignore us by looking all over when we were 5 feet away. Fags. Now I know who actually cares and who doesn't.

It's nice seeing a sports day from a spectator's perspective. I'm not anymore involved in it so it was pretty cool.Watching the events really did bring back memories.

I thought about the time Praveen and Izman from red caught up to the yellow runner, Jazlan at the 200m race. I thought about the time Allen overtook Teck Eng at the 4X100. I thought about the time they announced us the winners of the cheerleading competition. I thought about the time we had wide smiles and grins on every yellow member when we had a feeling we had won. I thought about the time Kelvin led the cheer when we took the cheerleading trophy. I thought about the time they announced us overall winners. I thought about the time we threw whatever object we could find around us. I thought about the happiness of winning, and the happiness of seeing heartbroken and slightly embarassed faces of the blue house members. I thought about the time we celebrated, had this never ending smiles on our faces and the satisfaction of knowing all the hard work paid off.

I thought alot.
It was good, excellent memories. To be cherished for eternity.

Yellow got 2nd this year. Blue won. First time this ever happened in the SSC Sports Day history. The order I meant.. Blue, Yellow, Red. Ppl are probably wondering why I still spend so much time thinking about the fate of yellow house this year and the years to come.

It is because. Yellow has became a part of me. I was a yellow since SSC was ever born till my final years. I had to overcome strong critcisms, defended for the house, fought for the house, got burnt in the sun for the house, trained march past every single day for the house, motivated the members of the house, and most importantly stuck with my house on their highs and lows. We got 3rd 4 times out of 8.
We won 2. The rest we got 2nd including this year.
I hate ppl who badmouth his or her house when they are doing badly or lost the previous year. I hate ppl who changes their houses after their house lost.

But I didn't.
I stood tall and proud(well not really proud)

And one of the happiest thing that happened in my SSC history was winning the house cup last year with my buddies.
It signified so much.. my and our efforts combined together into winning it.

I have to admit I was abit affected by the results just now.. but not as much as few years back.

All I have to say is.. if SSC do have the fair system played, following every regulation.. the results will differ I'm sure. To lose will not be a big problem too.
Because we know we lost fair.

But if SSC is indeed fair in making the system, I then may not be in yellow house anymore. Noticibly by every single senior in the school, the way the sort the people to go to each house is ridiculous. If you look tall, lean, and strong.. okay red. If you look like the ideal runner, okay blue. If you look overweight or chubby, okay yellow.

It may just be a "sports day" some might say. But it's still a game. And all games have to be played fair.

And SSC just doesn't seem to get that in their money minded skulls.

1 chance

I just realised I have another chance!
Today my ESL teacher told the class that if we wanted to submit a cover design for this year SAM yearbook "Winanga-Li".. we can!
Gave us a dateline and all. Showed us some examples pretty cool. Very unfortunate that she got all the yearbooks from year 2000 except the 2002 one which was my brother's year involved in the editorial board for SAM. Zzz.

Screw those 3 designs I published for SSC mag. I gonna try out for sure this year for SAM's mag! wooohooo!

and bloody Zhi Ven teacher damn bising. Not satisfied yet with the flyer thing i designed. GAhh!!! Want me to make it bigger add logo and all that shit. Damn mafan.
No mood to help him at all. Zzz. It's nice liau ok? -_-

So much work to do today.
Spec maths being bitchy as usual.
Maths studies teacher a.k.a homework lady doing what she's known best for.
Got some note-taking for 5 articles to do for ESL.
IT got some long so-called short answers questions to be completed.
Physics must submit some title for project.

WTF?
Work overload, tx.

Attention Taylorians!

Image hosting by Photobucket

Zzz.
Zhi Ven was bugging me to help him design a flyer like how I did for him last year.
I wasn't planning to do it initially today but he suddenly told me the registration starts next week and this friday he was gonna stick it around campus. After designing the whole damn thing not whole-heartedly, I found out from him it wasn't for his basketball club but for his class charity drive. -_-
Zzz.

I just helped another class gained profit! Grr.
Nah it's for a good cause.. so I don't mind. ;)

And indirectly, I'm helping him raise funds too by posting this 'flyer' thingy over here.

It's Wednesday guys!
U've just finished half of the week. Congrats!

Happy Valentine's Day

Everyone's doing it so I can't lose out. =)

I hope everyone had as happy valentine's. I certainly did.
I had my 17th Valentines alone.Again. Nice streak. ;)

Shyan flew off this morning. A dedicated post to her will be done soon enough. This is not it, however.

<3 <3 <3

Hearts are fun to play around with.
Roses are red as usual.
I think i'm suffering from single-atrobia.Whatever that last part means.

Am I what some ppl will like a 'companion' to be?
Am I qualifed enough to take care of another?
Did I successfully make other ppl think what I want them to think of me?

Heck, I can't even take care of myself.
But hey.. who the heck cares?

Happy Valentine's Day all!
From a young, sexy,(and quite desperate) single and available man..

Cahaya VII 2005

Around 15 minutes ago, I took my pendrive(which I have not used since late last year) down as I wanted to transfer my newly designed timetable into it to be printed somewhere else.

I viewed the contents and was very surprised indeed. :)
I found files I forgot was even there.

Last year's SSC magazine's editorial contents. :D

Not only I designed many of the pages in the magazine, I was asked to design the cover as well. I did 3 overall and let the board and teachers chose for themselves. So just now, I took a look at the 3 different covers I designed and analysed it a little.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look as nice as I first designed it. :(

Haha the covers are so funny I just have to post it.
Corny and messy are the right words for it. XD

Cover 1 has got dark and gloomy feel to it(at least that was what I wanted anyway).
The eagle is just there for some gaya reason and the contrast from darkness to light should be obvious but it obviously isn't. The forests below are supposed to be the dark side and the top bright area shud be the bright side. Like showing some change in alignment. Darkness to light.. get it? Those kind. Like Seri Cahaya bringing light unto the world. :)

Image hosting by Photobucket
Cover 1

Cover 2 is quite gay. Trying to be unique but didn't work out. The middle scenery section is just too contrasting with the light background. I was told the eagle looks extremely corny here. But wait a minute guys. Just try picturing this as a cover of a school magazine. It'll be freaking cool. I just wanna try man! The color.. first time in SSC history.. Yea..

Image hosting by Photobucket
Cover 2

Cover 3 is very similiar to Cover 2. I just doing it for Kim's sake. She got ideas of her own and wants to put the Seri Cahaya name and logo above instead of below. I don't remember who suggested bringing the 'dark forest' here.. But it just looks plain dumb.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Cover 3

So which of those 3 was finally selected?
None!
=D

Many hours in the computer lab and home each day thrown into the rubbish bin. :D
I'm so pleased. :D
No one informed me. :D
Why am I smiling. :D

I was then told the printing company designed the final cover or something. I was told all 3 covers were rejected for some reason.
So my final issue of Cahaya school mag which has me in it look like this!

Image hosting by Photobucket
Mag and Haris hand

p/s : I'm not disappointed or angry or anything.. Just frustrated on the fact that no one told me anything about designing a cover or what should be done etc. All they did say was ,"Alex. Design a cover" and I just did my job. No one checked my work until I submitted it. Oklah..to be honest how could I not be affected! Zz. Ok I admit the covers are not very nice but still! Tell me what you guys want wert. Zzz. And no, I'm not blaming anything on the editor. I'm still actually quite glad I did many pages in the mag. Proudest pages are the Editorial Board pages. 10q for ur time. :)

Change of the tides

After last week's post, I suffered from a lack of inspiration and ideas. And still is suffering now. :(

So on Thursday, Allen,Kelvin,Haris,Richmond and I sent Praveen off-ed at KLIA. He left to Trinity College at Melbourne for his foundation studies. The beginning of our high school friends seperations? I don't know. It just feels awkward having your friend flying off to another place for his studies. It's not like it didn't happen before.. Adrian left after Form 1, Janice after Form 2, Joyce after Form 3..
I mean it's just different this time. I just can't explain it.

So like what I did for Adrian, I'm gonna dedicate this little post to him! :)

Hm,
It IS gonna be different without having Praveen tagging around at outings. I just realised it after he flew. Lmao. He makes the outings different somewhat. His double personality enables him to mix with all sorts of ppl, joining different groups. It's weird cause I just realised recently that I was actually quite close to him to an extent cause I remembered overnighting at his house with Allen for a few times already. We actually had this link I thought we never had. Bwahaha. It'll be funny to overnight at his house if he is to ask me recently. None of our outings now can be done without an argument, insult or vulgarity. :) All in a fun way of course.

I guess my 'drinking' sessions have to be put on a hold now. Hahaha. He's the main organiser of this sorta things. My wish is to pour beer all over him next year in Melbourne(there's a story behind this). They're several ppl waiting for me there next year btw. I just HAVE to go.

Praveen can also be considered some sort of an all-rounder I guess. If only he buck up on his academics side. Hahaha. He's not the dumb type or the lazy kind. His general knowledge totally pwns mine. He just doesn't excel to a standard where ppl can praise his academics.. U know.. those kind. He's sportsman of the year in SSC for several years(not a big achievement since it's just 'SSC' actually). He was head prefect after *cough* a few problems last year. And he won some several pointless awards. To top that up, he knew me personally. ;) That's a one hella big achievement.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Praveen and Huey Shyan

Oh yeah, Huey Shyan will also be leaving to the same place on Tuesday. :S I'm losing more company! Bah, more details soon enuff.

So anyway, it's gonna be a dull-er year without his overexaggerated laughs and high-fives. Gonna miss our frequent teamup vs Kelvin and fights we ever had. And oh yea, we haven't 'settle' it yet. Or fight till someone dies. HAhahahahah.

Shit ler. As I'm writing this.. I'm thinking of more and more times I actually liked him(in a straight way of course).

So for another many months, I will just have to insult Kelvin myself I guess. Lmao.
It will be soon until I can see his dumb face and then have our 'close account' hand shake. Bwahahaha.

CNY 'pai-nien' day

I just came back from Huey Shyan's house an hour ago and feeling the extreme tiredness I should feel. My day started off at 11.30am when I HAD to wake up as the twins and Kelvin was supposed to pick me up for our planned 'pai-nien-house-to-house-thing'. So they sat for a while for courtesy sake and disturbed me while I was trying to get ready. I decided to bring my camera along as I thought it would be interesting to post the pictures I took for my very 'adventurous' day. :)

So I slept at 5am yesterday morning as I totally forgot about our initial plan. :(
Was dota-ing till 4am and finally felt like sleeping at 5am. Sienz. Had to wake up around 10+ to reply Teck Eng's sms regarding the time he would be coming and shit.
How sienz and tiring. So about 20mins before their arrival, I forced myself out of bed and took a shower. When they arrived, they spent time for a little while(just waiting for the angpau of course) and didn't let me get ready in peace. Thx anyway to the twins for fetching me the whole day! BWahaha. Before we left, we decided to take a picture to show our starting point.. before it all began.

Image hosting by Photobucket
The initial 4 before the group expanded. :) (at my house)

We left to KGSAAS after that to visit the KGSAAS ppl. It was only then we realised we could only visit Chrisanne as the others are either not there anymore or we are not really close to them. How unfortunate. -_- . We had to stop by at Vernon's place first as Chrisanne said she wasn't ready or something and ask us to take our time.
So we kacau-ed Vernon at his place and woke him up from his few hours sleep to spend time with us while we waited. From there, Gadafi went over and they both went to Chrisanne house with us in a little golden Kembara. :)

When we arrived at Chrisanne's house, we were treated with some drinks(thx chrisanne) and some 'surprise' visit from Amy, Yin Ying and Wey Ping. Pretty cool as the gang became big and we started our first blackjack session. I lost alot that round btw. Was winning initially but had a losing spree all of a sudden. Nvm la. CNY once a year only wert.. Bwahaha.

So Chrisanne tagged along after that with us to Bukit Jelutong to visit Brandon Ho. Also met up with Jason Tee whom I've not seen for quite some time so meeting him again was kinda interesting. Only then I realised his flight was a few hours time from then so we had to say our goodbyes and hellos the very same day. -_-
Had another round of Blackjack there and that was when I realised how 'ong' Chrisanne is. I made her sit behind me when I played and I did win some money. O.o.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Group Pic at Brandon's

After that, went to Giant to makan MCDs and waved goodbye to Jason Tee who was gonna study in Taylors Australia. As soon as we ate, moved on with the twins to their Mobil station as that was the meeting place we set for Haris and Allen to join us.
Damn long later, only they arrived. Wtf man. But anyway, on the way to the Mobil station with the twins, we jumped off our seats like jacoons when we saw one nice rainbow right beside us! I mean.. it's the nicest rainbow I've seen to be honest. So curved. And so near! I could actually see the end!! Not literally the end.. but still! I can see the..almost the end. It's damn cool ler. It looks 46324623X better real life than in the photo I took! Gaya.

Image hosting by Photobucket
Nice rainbow. Best shot out of around 5 shots I had.

So after Allen and Haris arrived, 4 cars departed from the Mobil station to Nick's house. Didn't spend much time there unfortunately so we didn't get to catch the lion dance performance :( Saw some ppl who I thought I would never meet again too. :)
Interesting visit. Honestly hoped I could had stayed longer.

Rock Garden at Nick's house. Looks damn nice.

Departed from Nick's house to Shyan's house after that for a steamboat dinner!
It's like a friends gathering kinda thing so it's nice to see us interacting with each other again after so long. :( I ate super damn alot until I don't feel like I ate alot anymore. Yea that much. WTF i don't make sense. Bah screw it. The point is, I still had a satisfying dinner. And ate alot. Zzz.

Watched Arsenal beat Birmingham too after the makan session in the house. Chrisanne got a little tired so Haris sent her home and I just tagged along. :/ Thanks Haris!

I damn tired now btw. Not enuff sleep and too much activity for the inactive me.
College starting this coming Monday. Sien. Common Tests too. ARGHHH.

Fun's over for now I guess.
GG.

Yawn.

CNY Part 2

So after the gambling session at my grandma's place which I lost alot, we went back to the hotel. Renaissance Hotel imo, is.. good! I don't know if it's the new bed they introduced or something.. but if there's a day which I just wanna run off from society for a while, I'll go there. ;) Super comfortable and the bathroom rox too.
Speaking bout the new beds they were promoting like crazy, it comes with 3 huge pillows and nice white sheets. No more disgusting greenish/brownish blanket thing. Those are cheap. :)

Image hosting by Photobucket
They actually have this at the lobby. -_-

Image hosting by Photobucket
The beds at the room! So comfy.

Day 2 was as quiet as the quiet-est street in Malacca. So we had the usual "GONG XI FA CAI" and "HAPPY NEW YEAR" greetings. Had a gambling session too the moment we arrive after lunch. After that, my very kind hearted aunty decided to bring the 2 maids whom we brought from KL to go bersia-sia. I tagged along of course, as I wanted to test out my photography skills which..erm.. didn't turn out that fantastic.
Brought them to the big old ship made museum for some photo takings.

Image hosting by Photobucket
The Battleship. Or whatever u call it.

Also went to the A Famosa Fort as u know..the big brick structure is apparently very ..'historical'. Also felt proud to recite to them the history of Malacca as we passed by a few buildings. "Tengok bangunan itu.. dibina Belanda ketika Melaka dijajah oleh mereka.. Tengok itu! Itu Portugis bina untuk mempertahankan jajahan mereka dari Acheh.." I felt damn smart that day wei! Sejarah SPM sure A1! Unfortunately, at school, we don't only learn about the foundations of Malacca. :( Sigh.

A Famosa. (play champions league soundtrack)

Also passed by 4 different religious ..how do u call that.. worship areas? There's this hindu temple, mosque, chinese temple and church. All built damn long ago!!!
And the interesting part is.. all just beside one another! Harmony man. All build around the 17th to 18th century. :) Nice feeling to your heart. Like facing history face-to-face. Chunted. Unfortunately, I was too distracted by the fact that i'm facing history until I forgot to take photographs. Sigh.

The whole day was a bore after that.. Did nothing was extremely tired so I went to bed early. My final day in Malacca, my family and I were treated to an interesting lion dance performance at the lobby of the Renaissance Hotel. Pretty cool. First time I saw the lion standing on a pillar held by many men below. Gayanya. I know they have this thing for making the lion vegetarian but this is the first time I see the lion eating the cabbage from many feet above balancing on one pillar. Damn cool!

Roar. I ownz j00.

The Wan-Tan-Mee stall which my family regularly go to at Malacca was closed that day.. So we tried another stall instead. It was quite good actually. Pretty oily but I'm okay with it. :) I'm not very picky when it comes to food. Except vegetables thx.

The mee strangely looks fatter in photographs than in real life.

Went around Malacca for some sightseeing(father's plan) and traveled back to my grandma's place again. Met up with aunty who wanted to try the Nyonya food. SO ONCE AGAIN, I left the house to eat. Zzz. The Nyonya food was pretty good.. except I was too full to finish the Nyonya Laksa. :( The Nyonya Cendol was super sweet but I like it. Damn refreshing. The Nyonya Rojak thingy was okay.. like any other Rojak. Not a big Rojak fan here. :(

This is the stall if you wanna try. Apparently it's a house-made-stall. Very long inside. This man looks happy to be posing for me.

Then went back to Grandma's place ONCE AGAIN for our final goodbyes and see you next year that kinda thing. The trip there was pretty good and the most important part was being able to stick together as a family even after this many years. I don't think many families would be able to meet for like what..so many years in a row already? Hmm. :/

Next year, there's a possibility of me not celebrating CNY at home anymore. :/
But the possibility is still not high so I'll just screw it for the moment. :)

So,
CNY reunion gone.
College's starting again.

Life is gonna be as dull as the journey back to KL.
